Casey’s broad expertise, deep relationships, steadfast dedication to doing what’s right – and charisma – have afforded him the opportunity to found an independent advisory with his family to provide even more customized solutions for his clients.

With over three decades in the industry – at EF Hutton, Morgan Stanley and most recently Wells Fargo Advisors — Casey is well-versed on advising individuals and institutions on investment management through different market cycles. He has an intimate understanding of the complexities and fiduciary responsibilities associated with nonprofits, labor organizations, foundations and defined contribution plans. At Scott Capital Advisors, he oversees fiduciary best practices, investment strategy, relationship management and business development.

Casey majored in economics and business at University of Portland and Portland State University. He also earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) designation for demonstrated knowledge and ability to apply fiduciary best practices. He frequently attends investment workshops and accredited continuing education to keep up with industry trends and insights.

Committed to his community, Casey serves on the Rask Family Memorial Trust, which awards needs-based scholarships to students ranging from grade to graduate school, and on the Carlton Farms Board of Directors, the largest meat purveyor in Oregon. He received the prestigious “Gift of Sight” award from Guide Dogs of America. He also is a member of the Portland Golf Club and Multnomah Athletic Club.

Casey and his wife, Stephanie, have lived in Portland all their lives. They have four grown children: Jennifer, Shaughn, Brendan and Murphy. In his spare time, Casey enjoys playing golf and waterfowl/upland game bird hunting with his black labs. In addition, he and Stephanie spend time with their family and especially enjoy their six grandchildren.
